Here is the long awaited 2nd episode in the series Being Single and Saved in 2021!
So many people think you can not do it God’s Way in today’s society but I am here to tell you that YOU CAN!!!! What does doing it God’s Way look like? Do you date or court? Join us as Pastor Cynthia Blackwell and Reverend Eric Holmes discuss their journey living the single life and how they allow God to guide them every step of the way!!
Cynthia L. Blackwell was born and raised in Farrell, Pennsylvania, and she now resides in Prince George’s County. Cynthia accepted the Lord as her savior at the age of 12 and was baptized at the age of 22. She was ordained as a prophetess in April 2009 and Pastor in July 2012. Her strong belief in God keeps her motivated, focused and thinking positively. Cynthia continues to educate herself with biblical principal and teachings by attending women conferences, intercessory prayer classes and is a member of Elijah Task (School of the Prophets) in Clinton, MD. She is the Founder of Victories Women Walking in Victory (a ministry that ministers to girls and women of all ages); she serves as an intercessor with Women of God Lifegivers in the Metropolitan Area and mentors’ women of all ages. Cynthia’s desire is to fulfill the call of God on her life as she continues to teach, prophecy, and lay hands on the sick and watch them recover.
Rev. Holmes was a member of the Isle of Patmos Baptist Church (IPBC) as a young child, but he did not enter into a personal relationship with Jesus until December 31, 1999. He returned to IPBC immediately after giving his life to Christ where he listened and studied for two years. In 2002 he begun to understand and accept his purpose in life. He was licensed to preach in November 2004, and ordained in July 2013. One of his favorite scriptures is John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Rev Holmes is a father of 3 and grandfather of 2. He is currently an Assistant Pastor at the Isle of Patmos Baptist Church, Chairman Budget & Finance Committee, and Bible Study teacher.

Recently, Ms. Blue opened her home to become a certified Transitional House for Women re-entering the community due to incarceration, substance abuse and other anti-social behaviors. Blue’s house is the second home for women in the Howard County community under Project Encompass, Inc., Nonprofit Transitional Housing for Women that offers housing for 18 months. Project Encompass, Inc. fosters a creative support system of programs that promotes education, provide spiritual guidance, life skills, conflict resolution and job readiness to overcome the barriers associated with addictive behavior, and move from dependent into independent, self-sufficient lifestyles

This week we are continuing our talk with Dr. Jackson and children with special needs during this time of virtual learning!
Not sure what to do while trying to navigate the world of virtual learning?? Imagine having to do this with a child with special needs. Join us as I discuss with Dr. Jackson the many concerns surrounding virtual learning, especially with a child with special needs and what parents can do to help with child/ren.
Dr. Tanna Jackson has taught students in various populations including students with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities. After being in the classroom for eight years Dr. Jackson took on an administrative role in special education and has been serving in that capacity for the last ten years. With seventeen years in special education Dr. Jackson knew that she needed to use her gift in a way that would support families of children with disabilities with that assertion she became the founder and CEO of Reagan Voice a nonprofit organization that supports families of children with disabilities effectively advocate. Dr. Tanna Jackson is passionate about special education and the opportunity to empower parents to become partners in their children(s) educational journey.
